Pundra University of Science & Technology proudly participated in Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026, organized by the National Science and Technology Museum (NMST) under the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST), Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The three-day national innovation event commenced on 12 September 2026 (Saturday) at Novo Theatre, Agargaon, Dhaka, and was inaugurated by the Honourable Prime Minister of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Tarek Rahman. As part of its participation, Pundra University proudly showcased Ellipse v3.0 - an innovative automated bug bounty and cybersecurity research platform developed through student-led research and practical engineering. Ellipse v3.0 integrates: • Automated Security Scanning • AI-Powered Scan Intelligence • Autonomous Scanning Agents • Real-Time Security Monitoring • Manual Testing Guidance • Automated Security Reporting The platform is designed to support ethical security researchers in identifying, analyzing, and verifying potential web security vulnerabilities in a faster, smarter, and more efficient manner. The project was presented by Jahangir Alam and Sinthia Rahman of the 16th Batch (Diploma Stream), Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE). The team was guided by faculty members Nahid Hasan and Ankar Kumar Saha, with valuable contributions from Rashedul Islam 27th Batch (HSC Stream) and Musfiq Anam Ananta 23rd Batch (HSC Stream). A Special Moment of Inspiration - On 13 September 2026, the respected Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Pundra University of Science & Technology, Prof. Dr. Hosne-Ara Begum visited the university’s stall at the fair. She reviewed the Ellipse v3.0 project, interacted with the participating students and faculty members, appreciated their innovative efforts, and encouraged them to continue their journey in research, innovation, and technological development. Her presence and encouragement served as a great source of inspiration for the young innovators of Pundra University. The participation of Ellipse v3.0 at Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026 represents an important milestone in promoting student-led research, cybersecurity innovation, practical engineering, and technology-driven solutions at Pundra University.
