The Department of Education is focused to attain and enhance leadership, management, analytical and problem-solving skills by introducing learners to the world of academics and research which will be contextually relative to the current education system of Bangladesh and that of the modern world.

• Train the teachers so that they can fit themselves on all fronts, i.e. social, mental, physical, moral, cultural, spiritual as well as contemporary educational technology.
• Provide opportunities to enhance their competence and knowledge construction abilities in creating positive learning atmosphere in schools.
• Enable teachers to enhance and diversity their teaching-learning-processes so that they can design teaching methodologies through understanding of pupils’ psychology and contemporary issues in the field of education locally and globally.

To adopt trainee teachers with the modern technology for developing their teaching skills through achieving excellence on academic, social, mental, physical, moral and cultural fronts. To provide opportunities to enhance competencies and knowledge construction abilities in creating positive learning atmosphere in school together with the modernization of the teaching skills.
